Privacy Policy

Reelmi is an AI video studio built for hijabi creators: you pick an avatar, type a script, choose a voice, and get a short vertical MP4. Because your face is personal, the service is built on one simple principle: we keep as little of your data as possible — and we never keep your uploaded photos at all. This policy explains what we collect, what we deliberately don't store, and the choices you have.

1. Who we are

Reelmi is operated under the name "Reelmi" (referred to in this policy as "Reelmi", "we", or "us"). For anything related to privacy or your data, contact us at hello@reelmi.app.

2. What we collect

We collect the minimum needed to run your account and deliver the service:

• Account data: your email address, current plan, and country. Sign-in is handled through Supabase, either with a one-time code sent to your email (OTP) or with your Google account.
• Render metadata: for each video you create, we keep the date, the avatar used, and the credits charged — metadata only, never the video itself (see section 4).
• Attribution data: UTM parameters that tell us which campaign or link brought you to Reelmi.
• Payments: all payments are handled by a secure third-party payment provider that manages payment data, VAT, and other taxes — we never see your card numbers.

3. Your photos — never stored

This is the most important part of this policy, so we state it plainly. When you upload a photo of yourself to create an avatar (available on paid plans):

• The photo is processed in memory only — it is never written to our servers, our database, or any storage we run.
• It is sent to our AI render provider for one purpose only: producing your video.
• As soon as your video is delivered, the provider-side job — including all uploaded files — is deleted.

In other words: Reelmi holds no library of user photos. Your photo passes through; it does not stay.

4. Your videos

Finished videos are not stored on our servers. When a render completes, you download the MP4 to your device, and we retain only the metadata: date, avatar used, and credits charged. The only copy of your video is the one in your hands.

5. Cookies & analytics

We draw a clear line between two kinds:

• Essential cookies: your sign-in session and language preference. These are required for the site to work and are always on.
• Analytics & marketing: Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Microsoft Clarity, and Tolt (affiliate attribution). None of these load until you accept the cookie-consent banner. If you decline, they never run.

6. Third-party processors

We rely on a small number of providers to run the service, each processing data under a contract that limits use to delivering the service:

• Supabase: authentication and storage.
• Payment provider: payments and taxes.
• AI render and voice providers: producing your videos and voices under processing agreements.

Your content — photos, voice, or scripts — is never used to train AI models.

7. Data retention & deletion

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. To delete your account or any of your data, email hello@reelmi.app — we honor deletion requests within 14 days.

8. Your rights

We operate with the EU GDPR and the California CCPA in mind. You have the right to:

• Access: know what data we hold about you.
• Export: receive a copy of your data.
• Delete: have your data permanently erased.

9. Children

Reelmi is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If we learn that an account belongs to a child under 13, we will delete it.

10. Changes & contact
